During my time at the company, I accomplished various achievements in the field of recommendation systems and advertising. I addressed the cold-start problem in our recommendation system by developing the Deep Structured Semantic Model (DSSM) for the ranking algorithm, resulting in a 5% increase in new user retention. I also conducted over 10 A/B tests to determine the effectiveness of notifications' time-frame and advertisement exposure frequency, leading to a 15% increase in active duration for the target user group and a 7% increase in conversion rate.Furthermore, I utilized SQL to query and calculate advertisement exposure, click-through, and conversion details based on demographic and behavioral features. I then built auto-renewed dashboards using Tableau to visualize advertising indexes, making it easier for the team to track performance and make data-driven decisions.
